Philippe Heim
Philippe Heim (France) is Deputy Managing Director and member of the executive committee of the Société Générale Group, a European leader in financial advisory. The international bank is among the most implanted in Africa, with a presence in 18 countries of the continent. Deeply involved in the funding of the African growth, the Société Générale had launched the “Grow with Africa" programme in favour of sustainable and responsible development. Before he joined the banking sector, Philippe Heim held management positions in the public sector, notably as adviser to the ministers of Economy, Finances and Industry’s, Francis Mer (2003) and later Nicolas Sarkozy (2004-2006). He then became a spokesperson of the government and Jean-François Copé’s chief of staff when he was Minister of the Budget.
