Mauritania in the spotlight
Mauritania was the country of honor for the second edition of the Choiseul Africa Business Forum. Ousmane Mamadou Kane (Mauritanian Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors) made the trip accompanied by a delegation of institutional representatives and Mauritanian business leaders. The Minister spoke at the opening ceremony of the Forum and presented the numerous investment opportunities in Mauritania during a dedicated working session.
Deepening Africa-Europe cooperation at the heart of the forum
A plenary session dedicated to partnerships enabling the emergence of the private sector in Africa was held with Jean-Marie Ackah (President, General Confederation of Ivory Coast Companies), Ousmane Mamadou Kane (Mauritania – Minister of Economic Affairs and Promotion of Productive Sectors), Mehdi Tazi (General Vice-President, General Confederation of Moroccan Companies), Ruggero Arico (Vice President, Cofindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo) and Isabelle Bébéar (Director of International and European Affairs, Bpifrance).
A wide range of topics
Nearly 600 of the most influential decision-makers and senior economic leaders from the African and European continents met for nearly 20 working sessions that put Africa at the heart of the debate. For two days, participants discussed and exchanged on themes such as infrastructure financing models on the African continent to the governance of sport business and the prospect of health sovereignty, rich in content for the African perspective.

With a high proportion of African dignitaries and entrepreneurs (80% of participants from nearly 40 countries out of the 54 countries on the continent) and the quality of its content, the Choiseul Africa Business Forum is recognized as a unique pan-African event celebrating Africa in motion!
Choiseul for good: an initiative promoting the construction of schools in Africa
The Choiseul Institute is committed to humanitarian projects in Africa, such as the construction of schools in Ghana, Madagascar and Malawi in collaboration with the association Coup de pouce humanitaire and the company Malt. With the generosity of the Choiseul network, the contributions collected reached an amount of 45 000 euros! A big thankyou to the participants!
